Common questions about using Live Tribe, whether you're looking for shows or listing your own. Tap a question to see the answer. If yours isn't here, please contact us.
Not to look around. Shows, artists and venues are open to everyone, with no account and no app to install.
A free account lets you follow artists and venues, save shows you're interested in, reserve tickets, and list your own shows.
If you play in a band, perform on your own, run a venue, or organise and produce shows, you can list them yourself. It's free and takes four steps.

Let us know what you do
Right after you register we ask whether you're an artist or produce shows, and whether you own or manage a venue. Answer yes to whichever applies, and the matching tools appear on your page. If you organise shows without being an artist or a venue, see the next question. If you already have an account and never saw those questions, see "I have an account, but I was never asked if I'm an artist or a venue" below.
-
Create or claim your page
On My Page, tap "Add artist" or "Add venue" and enter your name. If a page for you already exists on Live Tribe, we'll show it so you can claim it instead of creating a duplicate. See "My artist or venue is already on Live Tribe" below.
-
Add your show
Once you have an artist or venue page, an "Add show" button appears at the top of My Page. Fill in the date, the venue and the lineup, and you're done.
You can still list everything you put on. Promoters, production companies and event organisers are welcome.
For now, answer yes to the artist question when you register. That's a workaround rather than a perfect fit, and it's what unlocks the tools you need. You then create a page for each act you book, or claim the page if the act is already on Live Tribe, and add your shows from there.
We're working on a proper option for organisers. If you run a lot of shows, please get in touch and we'll help you get them all listed.
Those questions only appear when you first register, so if you signed up just to browse you won't have seen them. You can change your answers at any time: open the menu and go to Artist / Venue.
As soon as you answer yes, the matching sections appear on My Page and you can carry on from step 3 of "How do I add a show?" above.
We list shows from venues all over Japan, so a page for you may already exist before you join. In that case don't create a second one. Search for the existing page, open it, and use the claim button.
When you claim a page we ask for something that shows the page is really yours, such as an official website, an email address you can receive mail at, or a short note explaining the connection. We review each claim by hand and email you once it's done, usually within a couple of days.
After it's approved the page is yours: edit the details, add shows, and invite the rest of your team to manage it with you.
Claim your artist or venue page, as described above, and you'll be able to correct the details yourself. If something needs fixing sooner, let us know.
Sign in, open their page and tap follow. Their new shows then appear on My Page, and you can get an email when one is announced. You can turn those emails off at any time from your profile.
Torioki is the usual way tickets are reserved at Japanese live houses. You reserve in advance through an artist or venue, then pay at the door on the day. See About Torioki for how it works.
Write to us through the contact form. We reply in English and Japanese.
