Hello, everyone. Thank you all so much for your continued support. This is Shun Ishikawa. This year marks the 10th time I’ve performed six shows over three days at Shinjuku Pit Inn. Amazing!
I've been giving it my all for about 10 years. The shows always push the limits, and I'm really looking forward to this year's lineup, too.
The first day features Mangaphonics. Over the past three years or so, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to spend time with these wonderful folks. It’s sure to be a legendary performance. In the evening, it’s the familiar SMTK. I hear they’re making progress on their new album. Lately, every time they play, I can’t help but be deeply moved by what a great band they are. Here’s hoping they can release it this year!
On the second day, daytime set features a performance with two musicians I feel a strong connection with. I have a feeling we’ll discover something new. In the evening set, Answer to Remember’s Big Band will celebrate our 10th performance with a grand show, featuring arrangements created especially for this day.
On the third day, the afternoon show will be a live performance commemorating the 10th anniversary of the release of our first 'Songbook'. We also went on tour this early summer. In the evening, 'Boys' will take the stage. They went through a lot and were on the verge of breaking up at one point, but it looks like they’re back on track now. It’s been 19 years since we went on tour during my spring break between my second and third years of middle school. To mark our 19th anniversary, we’re returning to Pit Inn.
