Riddim Chango welcomes Accidental Meetings to Tokyo. Two labels/crews, speaking the Dub language from Bristol and Tokyo.
Accidental Meetings, The Bristol/London label, event series and DJs have racked up a run of crucial releases that upset the paradigm of what club and listening music are supposed to be. **Who didn’t have Devon Rexi meets John T. Gast’s ‘Breathstep’ on repeat this year? Their DJ sets carry the same spirit. i-sha weaves abrasive noise, thunderous rhythms and stark silence into brooding, disorientating narratives, joined by the label boss Lucien Douglas.
On the home side, Riddim Chango bring G Version III, Element and 1TA, three enthusiasts of obscure Dub, playing their own selections alongside dubplates and forthcoming material from the label.
