2016年にデビューEP『ShitKid』をリリースしてから、アナーキーな存在としてスウェーデンから全世界に発信を続けてきたパンクロッカー、Åsa Söderqvistによるプロジェクト、ShitKid。
ローファイ色が強くガレージバンドで制作されたガレージからアートロックまでが詰め込まれた初期の作品からオルタナ/グランジファンにより刺さるであろう『20​/​20 ShitKid』のような作品まで、とにかくアナーキーで変だけど、心に残る音楽を作り続けてきた。2020年のツアーで突如解散をし、基本的に表舞台から姿を消したShitKidだったが、2026年に突如復活し、これまでに無い規模でEUツアーを開催するなど、完全に復活。『The Essential Vol.1 & Vol2』をリリースし、代表曲などをライブでバンバン披露している中で、待望の初の来日ツアーが開催決定！
ShitKidという名前の通り、これまでリリースしてきた楽曲の通り、アーティストイメージの通り、Åsa Söderqvistは凄まじいライブパフォーマンスをする。
一度だけSXSWでライブを観たことがあるが、アメリカで一番チープなビール「PBR」を飲みながらの凄まじいライブは圧巻だった。
大量にある来日公演の中でも確実に異質。

We’re so excited to announce that Swedish DIY lo-fi PUNK artist, Shitkid will come to Japan to play her debut Japan shows in Tokyo and Osaka.
ShitKid is a project by Åsa Söderqvist. ShitKid first appeared in 2016 with a self-titled debut EP and quickly rose to prominence as one of the most exciting new acts out of Scandinavia, with a unique DIY-edge and an unwillingness to conform.
From early lo-fi, Garage Band-born gems spanning garage rock to art-pop, to records like "20/20 ShitKid" primed for art rock and grunge heads, ShitKid has always delivered music that is anarchic, weird, and catchy. After abruptly splitting on the tour in 2020 and disappearing, ShitKid made an unexpected comeback in 2026 with a massive European tour. Riding high on the release of The Essential Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 and playing tons of fan favorite songs live, ShitKid is finally heading to Japan!
