This is an encore performance of the show held at Kitazawa Town Hall on January 30th of this year. We’ve received so many requests for a repeat performance that we’ve decided to bring it back. Since it was the first time Otomo and HIMI had performed together last time, I believe this time the stage will feature an even more dynamic clash of their individual styles. The image of HIMI passionately singing a cover of “Imagine” (based on lyrics by Kiyoshiro Imawano) over Otomo’s beautiful, thunderous sound during the encore is still etched in my mind. While the trio’s performance will be the main focus, we’ll be playing two full sets at Pit Inn, which we consider our home base. We look forward to seeing you all there.
