*Reservations (priority entrance at the time of opening) will be accepted from 11:00 AM on September 1 (tue) by phone (03-3354-2024), at the reception desk of Pit Inn Shinjuku, or through the online ticket reservation form for each performance date on our website.
Reservations will be accepted until the day before the event.
I worked part-time at Shinjuku Pit Inn, watched live shows, and performed there myself. (I’ve been through a lot—I’ve been yelled at a lot, moved to tears a lot, and taken on a lot of challenges.) It’s already been 11 years since I started out here. This will be my first time performing as the leader in the evening set—alongside the best musicians I’ve met at Pit Inn. I’d appreciate your support.
This band also headlined the New Year’s Eve finale of the Park Street Classics last year. I came up with the name when we were set to perform a leader’s set during the evening session at Pit-In.
The name “A.N.D.” (Anti. Negative. Diversity) was inspired by “DNA” (Digital Native Association), a band I used to play in during the daytime sessions at Pit Inn—a band known only to those in the know. DNA represents what we pass on.
Miho-san, the owner of Apollo—my favorite shop—and Shibuya-san, the leader of my favorite orchestra: now that I’ve lost both of them, I want to take this opportunity to reflect once again on the importance of carrying on their legacy and keeping the music alive. And I hope that, for the sake of future generations yet to come, at least a small part of this legacy will remain.
